La Balance occupies one of two asymmetrical twin structures, connected by a raised platform. Its layout is straightforward: a central corridor runs the length of the building, acting as its spine, while pockets of garden space are inserted along the way to introduce natural light and a more relaxed atmosphere—moving away from the feel of an enclosed clinic room. The ceiling features a patchwork pattern, carefully designed to minimize plywood waste.
